LOR-326 Roller Cleaner and Conditioner

With the concentrated ingredients of LOR-326, a squeeze is all you need! Used full strength, each quart bottle of LOR-326 out-cleans and out-lasts up to two gallons of petroleum roller washes. LOR-326 is environmentally safe, water soluble, biodegradable, non-flammable, and non-abrasive. It cleans, deglazes, and conditions and will not swell rubber rollers.

Ink "stripping" occurs when the working surface of the roller is no longer allowed to come in direct contact with the ink due to a barrier called "glaze". Glaze typically appears as a "glossy" roller surface. While regular use of LOR-326 Roller Cleaner prevents glaze build-up, to restore the desired "velvety" rubber finish on a roller that is already glazed, Proceed as follows:

Deglaze the rollers thoroughly by hand rubbing them with a generous application of LOR-326 Roller Cleaner. The water-soluble nature of LOR-326 makes it ideal for breaking through both the solvent based as well as the water-based layers of glaze contamination. Follow up with a complete water rinse to remove any residues. If you are using a regular deglazing solvent, alternate several times between the solvent and an alkaline solution (such as a very dilute mixture of ammonia and water) to break through the layers of water-based and solvent contamination.

Roller Mate

Check Mate comes in a 1 quart bottle. It is an effective antioxidant that will retard the drying process of inks and varnishes on press. It is formulated to temporarily keep the inks from skinning during make ready and other brief shut down periods.
